TICKETS ARE NOW AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR STARTING AT 9 PMFAQ About New Year's Eve at Marriott Redmond Town Center1. What Do I need to bring with me if I purchase Tickets online?
A: Your ID and your printed receipt so we can check it against our master list - no substitutes will be accepted to check-in for you (unless planned at least 48 hours in advance and that only on a case by case basis). All persons must be present at the time of check-in, for example, if you have purchased 4 tickets, all 4 people must be present at the time of check-in with you - if not then we will hand the purchaser of the tickets all the passes and it is their responsibility to hand the passes over to their party if they are not present at the time of check-in.
Tickets/passes will only be handed to the person whose name is on the master list and checks in with proper ID and receipt. The purchaser will be responsible to pass them to the people in his/her party. We can not hold spots under your purchases at the door for people whose name is not on the Paypal purchase even if you have any number of people showing up later - no exceptions. The person who is on the purchase master list must be present with ID and their receipt to gain admission and/or receive passes.
2. Is there Childcare?
A: NOT DURING DAY OF EVENT. We have access to very top qualified babysitters. You will have to call 206.898.8852 to get details on the babysitting service - thus far each child will be
$20/hr.
Childcare Process1. Go to Mayuri and fill out the release of liability & service form (amount of hours and children you are planning to have). Put in a 50% deposit for the children at Mayuri after filling out the form, that will secure your babysitter. Then you will have to rent a room from the Marriott for the child/children. Rates are
$79/night for New Year's Eve at Marriott Redmond Town Center. Please call 206.898.8852 for booking childcare. We are only accepting children who are the ages of 1- 13 (years of age).
2. Book a Room at Marriott Redmond Town Center by calling (425)498-4000 and asking for the $79/night BollyGrooves New Year's Eve Room Rate
3. BollyGrooves will provide you with a babysitter (up to 4 children per babysitter) who is CPR certfied and background checked. We enoucourage you to ask your friends to join in as it will help with the costs for you.
3. How Should I dress, what is the attire requirement?
We ask no Hats, no Jeans and no sweats. For men we ask you wear a suit/coat dress shirt slacks as this is semi-formal (not full formal so no need for ties etc.)
For women: Indian formal wear: Sari, Lengha, Salwar Kameez, American dress or nice suit pant outfit
4. Is there parking?
A: Yes, there general parking which is Free Parking in the garage, right next to the Hotel, however if you want Valet parking that is also available at standard hotel rates.
5. Will there be food and drinks?
A: Yes there will be 4 bar set-ups and there will be appetizers from 9 to 11 PM along with alcohol beverages included in your ticket price. After 11 PM, the Bar will turn into a Cash bar and there is an ATM in the hotel and the appetizers will not be served all night - only during the time of the open bar 9-11.
6. How long is the event?
A: The event will go from 9 PM to 2AM
7. Why are small children not allowed?
A: Safety & Liability with alcohol and people who will be consuming alcohol
8. Will it only Bollywood music be played all night?
A: Yes & No, we will mash-up with hip-hop/R&B, house, top 40 and at least 70% Bollywood & Desi music. However, just know that the music is at this event is the best you will get on the entire west coast for Bollywood & Mash-up.
9. Can we get a refund if we decide not to go?
A: NO, once tickets are purchased refunds are not allowed whatsoever - all purchases are final and since we sell out every year, it's very hard for us to keep track of who did not attend or will attend. Transferring of tickets will be on a case by case basis only and at least 48 hours of advance notice.
10. How much are hotel rooms at the Marriott Redmond Town Center?
79$/night for this special event. Ask for the New Year's Eve BollyGrooves Room Rate or call Marriott Redmond Town Center for exact details. Our party gets the special $79/night rate.
11. How many people plan to attend?
A: 600-700 people will be expected. There will be plenty of room on the dance floor.
12. Will everyone get to sit at a table and sit down?
No due to maximizing dancing area/space, we have limited tables inside and people will be able to grab tables on a first come first serve basis. However, there will be chairs set-up for people to sit down all around the room. There will be highboy tables in the front/check-in area for people to gather around and mingle. There will also be two areas for people to hang their coats as well in case they get there late and can't find a table.
13. Will DJ Aanshul be playing?
A: Yes and so will guest DJ Elad as well!
14. Is there a group discount?
A: Yes for $60 and above tickets, for a group of 12 or more we can do 5% discount
